How to Transfer Photos from iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to Your Computer

These steps will transfer pictures from the Saved Photos Album on your device.

PC:
1. Plug your device into the USB port on your PC.
2. Go to Start then Computer. Your device should show up in the list of computer drives.
3. Double click on your device then Internal Storage.
4. Go through the folders starting with DCIM. 
5. Your photos from your Saved Photos Album will show up.
6. Then copy as normal.


MAC:
1. Plug your device into the USB port on your MAC.
2. Open iPhoto on your MAC and the Saved Photos will appear in the application.To transfer other photos from your device, you'll need to find a third party application. Apple currently does not support transferring synced photos to a computer. See
